Snowshoe Backcountry

Snowshoe Backcountry is diverse, deep, all around a mountain lovers dream. Venture away from the bike park and the village and find your way off the beaten path. The Snowshoe Backcountry Trails span each direction from the top of the mountain; take your pick heading toward South Mountain area or head up north towards the old town of Spruce.
Snowshoe Backcountry trails definitely have some “attitude” to them and should be attempted with that in mind.
Some of the backcountry trails put out near the lifts, making them easier to access during the summer season.
